Get help from a fellow student

Answer basic academic advising questions and refer as appropriate.
Connect you to campus and academic resources based on your individual goals.
Teach you how to use academic technology (degree maps, degree audits, course schedule and planning tools, etc.).
Schedule an individual appointment with your academic advisor if needed.
Help you navigate your first year curriculum.

Kyle Blake

Goals for after IUPUI: Academic advising and teaching
Favorite thing about IUPUI: Some of my favorite things about IUPUI are the different student jobs I have had around campus, being part of the yoga club on campus, and all the nice people I have met from those two things. I like that the school plants native Indiana plants around the campus. I also enjoy walking up to the White River and seeing all the turtles.
Advice for other School of Science students: Come to class every day and submit every assignment. It can help your grades. Also, try to major in something you truly enjoy, not what others tell you too.

Major: Forensic and Investigative Science, Biology, Pre-med Track
Year: Third year
Goals for after IUPUI: My goal after I graduate with my undergraduate degrees is to attend medical school and pursue a career in forensic pathology.
Favorite thing about IUPUI/to do at IUPUI: My favorite thing about IUPUI is how interconnected the science degrees are with each other.
Advice for other School of Science students: Explore all your options for both degrees and careers.

Goals for after IUPUI: Attend graduate school to obtain my doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
Favorite thing to do at IUPUI: Going to the Diversity center and meeting new people!
Advice for other School of Science students: Always ask professors for help when you need it and keep building good relationships with those who you admire.

Major: Neuroscience (Pre-Med)
Year: Senior
Goals for after IUPUI: Get into the IU School of Medicine to start my studies to become a Neurologist.
Favorite thing about IUPUI: My favorite thing about IUPUI is how diverse the campus is! I love seeing all the different types of cultures and love that there are so many organizations supporting them as well.
Advice for other School of Science students: Communicate with your professors! No matter how big or small your question is, they will be more than happy to help.
