Whether you choose a weeklong sojourn or an academic yearlong adventure, you’ll learn new things, meet fascinating people, and gain a new perspective on the world. You’ll come home with a whole new kind of experience to add to your resume, not to mention skills that are highly sought after by employers.

You can choose from three types of study abroad experiences:

Spring and winter break trips—these one- to two-weeklong experiences are usually focused on a specific learning objective.
Summer experiences—these immersive trips take place between academic years and often include internships or other experiential learning programs.
Semester and academic year programs—these programs usually require you to attend university in the country you’re visiting, completing between 12 and 15 academic credits.
