IUPUI psychologists report on clinician burnout
INDIANAPOLIS -- Psychologists from the School of Science at Indiana University-Purdue University (IUPUI) conducted the first study to systematically, quantitatively analyze the links between health care provider burnout and health care quality and safety across medical disciplines. The meta-analysis of 82 studies focused on links between burnout and quality as well as between burnout and safety. The studies involved almost 211,000 physicians, nurses and other clinicians.

IUPUI leading $4.8M project to increase STEM minority pipeline, impacting students statewide
INDIANAPOLIS -- The National Science Foundation awarded the grant to IUPUI as the lead institution of the Indiana STEM Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, which was formed to achieve that goal. Other alliance partners are IU Bloomington, Ball State University, IU Northwest, IU South Bend and Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis, which is the top provider of transfer students to IUPUI STEM-degree programs.
