International Brain Bee

The International Brain Bee aims to motivate high school students to learn about the brain and inspire the pursuit of careers in neuroscience research. The IUPUI Department of Psychology sponsors the Brain Bee as part of the School of Science’s commitment to advancing scientific minds, and fostering community interest in the sciences.

Open to students in grades 9-12, contestants in the spelling bee style event answer questions about the brain and nervous system until a single student remains, having answered all questions correctly.

Winners will receive a Dean of Science Scholarship to study any science major at the IUPUI Purdue School of Science! The first place winner will receive airfare and hotel for them and a parent/guardian to attend the National Brain Bee.
