Psychology Day

Psychology Day allows you and your students the opportunity to learn more about the Psychology Department at IUPUI.

 

REGISTATION FOR STUDENTS IS NOW CLOSED. TEACHERS MAY STILL REGISTER TO ATTEND THE IHSPTA CONFERENCE.

Join us to discover the psychology program at IUPUI.  You and your students will:

  • Meet psychology faculty, advisors and current students
  • See demonstrations of
    • Psychological Research in Clinical Psychology
    • Industrial/Organizational Psychology
    • Applied Social-Organizational Psychology
    • Neuroscience
  • Participate in a psychology master lecture
  • Tour our research facilities
  • Learn about the psychology major and career options
  • Ask questions during our student panel

Friday, November 1 | Lilly Auditorium (in University Library) | 8:45am-12:30pm

Schedule

Bring your own lunch, and we'll provide drinks and dessert. (Teachers attending the IHSPTA conference will have lunch provided.)

Registration for students is full. TEACHERS MAY STILL REGISTER TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE.
Registration will close on October 25, 2019 or earlier if the event maximum of 100 participants is reached.
 
Indiana High School Psychology Teachers Association Conference (optional) | 8:45am-3pm (Teachers may leave earlier if they need to return with their students)
  • Attend the IHSPTA annual conference, while your students attend Psychology Day. After attending Psychology Day events, your students will take a tour of the IUPUI campus from 12:30-2:00pm and join the final session of the conference from 2-3pm.
  • A $20 registration fee applies to those attending the conference. Payment ($20) should be in the form of a check made out to IHSPTA (Indiana High School Psychology Teachers Association.) The check should be sent to the address below or payment can be brought to the conference.
