IUPUI Chancellor Nasser H. Paydar has appointed Charles Goodlett, a professor in the School of Science, and Elizabeth Kryder-Reid, a professor in the School of Liberal Arts, as prestigious Chancellor's Professors.

They agreed 'til death do they part, but they will have to be apart during IUPUI's commencement ceremony, set for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The William M. Plater Civic Engagement Medallion recognizes graduating students that have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their community while attending IUPUI. Psychology doctoral student received Midwest distinguished thesis award
An IUPUI psychology doctoral student was honored this month by the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS). Miji Um was selected as the MAGS Distinguished Thesis Award winner for 2019 in the Social Sciences area. Um is a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology under the mentorship of Melissa Cyders, Ph.D., associate professor.

Representation matters for Black women college students when it comes to belonging in rigorous science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programs, according to a new study. Having role models who share their racial identity is vital to signaling a sense of belonging for women of color college students.
School of Science announces Top 100 Students for 2019
This year 45 School of Science students are on the Top 100 list, up four students from last year. Students will be recognized at the Top 100 Students Recognition Dinner on April 12, 2019. The Top 10 students will be named during the dinner along with one student recognized as “IUPUI’s most outstanding student.”
