Virtual School of Science Commencement 2020

Celebrating our 2020 graduates

While we may not be able to celebrate in person this month like we had planned, we want you to know how proud we are of your accomplishments. Our faculty and staff wanted to pass along their congratulations through video. Watch the compilation below, and visit our YouTube channel to see the messages in their entirety. We have also included a copy of the 2020 commencement program for you to save or print.

If you have photos of you in your cap and gown, we want to see them! Share them on Instagram using #ScienceJags.

You have all worked incredibly hard to get to this point—congratulations on a job well done! We can’t wait to hear where your journey takes you. Keep an eye out for future communications about rescheduled events.

In light of current guidance from the CDC, restrictions on large gatherings, and IU's own focus on health and safety, Indiana University has postponed all Spring Commencement Ceremonies.

There will be additional communication as we learn more. Please continue to check IU's website for all updates and additional information at coronavirus.iu.edu.
