Math Assistance Center (MAC)

Potential mentors and tutors must be skilled in difficult mathematics and also possess the strong interpersonal communication skills needed to explain the details of those mathematics. Because of the demanding requirements to fill these positions and the commitment required, the individuals who work at the MAC are some of the highest paid students on campus. Learn more and apply.

Psychology Dept. Undergraduate Administrative Assistant (work study)

The Psychology Department Undergraduate Administrative Assistant works in the front office 8-20 hours per week. Work schedule is flexible with your class schedule. This person is responsible for answering questions and greeting visitors to the Psychology Department by using excellent customer service skills in order to help faculty, staff, and undergraduate students by phone, email, and in-person. The successful candidate will complete other miscellaneous duties such as copy requests, book orders, course evaluations, kitchen upkeep, office equipment upkeep, and recordkeeping.Applicants must be Federal Work Study eligible. University Information Technology Services (UITS)

University Information Technology Services (UITS) is the administrator of the campus-wide IT infrastructure. They develop and maintain a modern information technology environment throughout the university in support of the university’s vision for excellence in research, teaching, outreach, and lifelong learning. Hourly job opportunities include Technology Center Consultant, Support Center Consultant, IT Training Classroom Assistant and Service Desk Technician. Learn more and apply.

University Library

The University Library is the main library on campus and they hire students for various part-time positions including such things as Circulation Desk Attendant (checks out books, etc.), Computer Consultant (the library has a number of public use computers), Security Monitor and Shelving Specialist (sorts returned books and reshelves them appropriately). Life-Health Sciences Internships

Life-Health Sciences Internships connect IUPUI life and health sciences undergraduates with research and professional experience internships on and near the IUPUI campus. This program helps students to explore their career objectives and future career pathways while also fostering valuable professional connections between students and faculty and staff. The students belong to a community of interns and mentors who support one another throughout the internship experience and beyond. Internships run from the end of August to the beginning of May. Positions pay $10 per hour for up to 10 hours per week (15 weeks per semester for two semesters). Learn more and apply.
