Baccalaureate-MD Honors Professional Admissions Program

Through a highly selective admissions process, the Honors Professional Admissions Program (HPA) allows high school seniors to apply for admission to both an undergraduate program as well as a graduate or professional program. The Baccalaureate-MD Program provides a pathway to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program in the Indiana University School of Medicine.

As admission to an MD program does not require a specific undergraduate major, students enrolled in the HPA can choose from a variety of undergraduate majors offered on the IUPUI campus. Admitted students will be members of the IUPUI Honors College and receive in-depth preparation for professional study and work within the medical profession.

To be considered for admission, students must be residents of Indiana and have a minimum SAT score of 1300 (Critical Reading and Math scores only) or an ACT composite score of 30. Additionally, they must have pursued a rigorous program of study in high school and have a minimum GPA of at least a 3.8 on a 4.0 scale.

The application deadline is December 1.
